The xx - I See You (Written a year ago)

I See You  by  The xx  opens with rhythmic trumpets in  Dangerous , welcoming the band into its newly born sound of club culture. Their previous obsession of longing and sadness has grown into something sweet, that radiates love and optimism. It’s evolved into an electronic beat inspired by  Jamie xx . Their new-found love of Ibiza house music is heard in  Violent Noise , a song that directly connects to Oliver's past excessive drinking problem. Romy's well-known talent linked to her guitar playing of riffs and synths weave in and out of Oliver's thick bass line, creating the perfect balance of a house beat. Compared to their 2012 album,  Coexist , which was encompassed with torturous longing,  I See You , is fixated on the journey of growth to empowerment and facing your own issues.
